Typewritten and bound transcript of an interview conducted by James R. Christianson for the James Moyle Oral History Program and for the European Latter-day Saints Oral History Project at Brigham Young University. Also interviewed at the same time was Peter Lauener, Wilhelm's son. Wilhelm Lauener talks about his personal background, his conversion to the Mormon Church, and his experiences in that church, both in California and in Switzerland. He comments on his engineering firm, his work as a stake president, and why missionary work is difficult in Switzerland. Peter also talks about these and related topics.
